Laminate Veneers

Laminate Veneers

A laminate veneer is a process of bonding a porcelain layer of 0.7 mm thickness, specially prepared in the desired color, length, and form, to the front of the tooth to change the shape and color of the teeth.

  1. In the first session, decisions are taken about what kind of porcelain should be made in line with the patient's aesthetic expectations. And measures are taken.
  2. In the second session, the rehearsal of the decided tooth is made. If there is no problem with the aesthetic expectation, the necessary preparations are made in teeth.
  3. In the third session, porcelain rehearsal is done, and if no problem occurs, the procedure is completed by bonding. If there is a problem, it is bonded after one session.

Sometimes a small amount of abrasion may be required on the teeth to which porcelain laminate will be applied, and sometimes it can be applied without any abrasion. This abrasion rate is determined directly proportioned to the form, color, and position of the tooth.
